“Life is simply blissful and full.”
“I was very lucky. As soon as I completed high school in Ghana, I heard about the BA in SCI program. My family asked me to participate.
I learned about the BA program from my TM teacher in Ghana.
As for the benefit, one word sums all, ‘In’ ’dependent’ Both ways. Leaving the shelter of my family provided relative independence. I felt happy about the little things I could do for myself. I also started to understand my family, appreciate them, wanted them to be happy and wanted the whole world to be happy too. Everything happened simultaneously.
I also became more dependent inwardly. Naturally, I understood myself more, relied on myself (not to provide material things) but myself is my source of refuge, support, armor and booster.
During the BA, I gradually realized that there is a connection between our inner being and the things outside, theoretically and practically.
If the bubble of happiness I feel inside expands, everything outside feels ecstatic. Seeing the rose tree bloom or chasing animals around also makes me happy on the inside. Everything pours love to me, I pour love to everything. Life is simply blissful and full.
My plans for the future are to be a TM teacher and go back to Ghana to teach TM.
There’s nothing like taking time for self-development. Staying on the Mother Divine campus takes the development to another level. It’s indescribable.”
“I have become more open and confident”
“I’m from Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Before coming to the BA program in SCI, I was a student Buddhist nun attending high school at the Dhammajarinee Wittaya School.
The main things that made me want to do my BA program in SCI at Rajapark Institute were:
1. I wanted to do extended TM and TM-Sidhi program because I like meditation,
2. I did not like the prospect of studying in Bangkok because I love staying in a quiet rural place more than anywhere. (I love nature!),
3. I wanted to improve my English because I love it so much,
4. I wanted to be a Consciousness-Based teacher at Dhammajarinee Whitthaya Girls’ School so I could teach whoever needed,
5. I wanted to live with Mother Divine because they are friendly, full of love, and generous in everything and with everyone,
6. I was interested in Maharishi’s Knowledge of Science of Creative Intelligence.
Before that, I personally loved the comfort and safety of Dhammajarinee School. I am not one who likes to do adventurous things. I was actually fearful of new experiences and new situations.
First of all, I had learned about the BA program from RR. Annabha (a teacher). I really enjoyed my BA program and being on the Mother Divine Program especially the inward part of the program. I love the TM and TM-Sidhi program so much. Now after I left the program, I realized that it was the best program of life. It was the best time of my life so far. And I miss it so much now!
Through attending the BA program, I have become more open and confident. Through the knowledge I gained during my classes and the experience of self-development I gained during my program, now I find I can be with anyone and move through my life facing new adventures and situations with ease and joy. I have grown a lot!
In the future, I just want to be a good teacher for myself and for the Dhammajarineee School students around me. I plan to be a good teacher as much as I can and if it possible, I would like to be a TM teacher as well.”
“I have become stronger from inside”
“I am Thinley from Bhutan. I was looking for a college. I heard about Transcendental Meditation and the BA program from my aunty. I felt very excited to learn TM and that’s how I came here to Chanthaburi for my BA.
This BA program has help me to grow a lot from inside and outside. I have become stronger from inside. The BA program and my daily practice of TM—experiencing my inner Self—has helped me to open up and express myself better. The deep and extensive knowledge that I gained from the classes complimented this inner growth and extended my appreciation for the world around me. I have grown to become more appreciative towards others and I feel a flow of love in everything.
I plan to attend the Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course and share this very valuable knowledge with the whole world including Bhutan.”
“Here is the place I can just be myself, I do not need to pretend,
I feel safe here.”
“The year I entered high school, Mongolia had a revolution from communist country to democratic country. It was 1991. My parents lost their jobs as simple wooden industry workers. I have four older sisters. One of them started working in hospital after finishing college and supported me through high school with the help of my other sisters later on.”
Zulaa saw her parents struggling through life especially during the political and economic hardships. This, along with the example of her hardworking sister, reinforced her belief in constant hard work. She focused on her studies and became a human resources advisor at a mining company.
“I had my profession, I had my job, I had friends…but there was something missing in my life. I was still looking for something in life. I did not know what it was. I read self-development books. I read books about meditation or books by enlightened Indian scholars about life. I tried Reiki meditation. I tried Yoga classes.”
Then she learned the Transcendental Meditation technique. “The day I learned TM was the most blissful experience I ever had in my life. I remember, I was holding a single red rose given to me by my TM teacher from the ceremony.”
(TM teachers do a short, traditional Vedic ceremony before instructing a student). “I was walking in the street, smiling and almost floating!”
After a year Zuula learned the advanced TM technique called the TM-Sidhi program. Then she heard about a special opportunity for ladies who practice the TM-Sidhis called A Taste of Blissful Life at a beautiful campus near Bangkok, Thailand. She knew she had to have a taste!
A Taste of Blissful Life is a one-month in-residence course offered by the Mother Divine Program, an international group of women who practice the TM and TM-Sidhi program. “I came first to attend A Taste of Blissful Life course for about a month and half…”
She enjoyed it so much she decided to join the Mother Divine Program so she could stay longer.
“From the first month of the course I started experiencing a totally different life than I (previously) knew. Totally different level of communication between people. Totally different atmosphere. Loving and caring and giving; everyone smiling at me. I felt a change in me, change in my thoughts, the way I see things. I felt a lightness. I was happy letting go of those stressful thoughts and feelings from my past. It was really wonderful to feel true tender feelings flowing to me from people whom I had just met. I felt, ‘here is the place I can just be myself, I do not need to pretend.’ I felt safe here. The change in me was something special. I wanted to continue. I wanted to become more and more free.”
The Mother Divine Program consists of long sessions in the morning and evening of the TM and TM-Sidhis, enjoying deep meditation. These ancient techniques from the Vedic tradition are time-revered methods of developing the full potential of consciousness. Zulaa’s own experience of increasing happiness and freedom is evidence of it!
She was also interested in gaining more knowledge. An academic program is offered at the Rajapark Institute for members of the Mother Divine Program, leading to a Bachelor or Masters degree in the Science of Creative Intelligence and Management.
“In order to have more efficient and structured afternoons I joined the BA program. It helped me to have structured knowledge. Even a little understanding of knowledge built a faith in life, told me there is something truthful, there is something I will share with anyone with full confidence. To change my mindset from hard work to “do less and accomplish more” was something very new to me. [The BA program] helped me to change my mindset. When I understand logic in something I believe in it. Then I started letting go of my old self which tried to work hard but gained little. I started relying more on the TM and TM-Sidhi program and the knowledge I was gaining in the BA studies, and I can now accomplish more with less effort. I started having more faith in life. Life is not a race, life is to live, life is to enjoy.”
Zulaa plans to continue on the Mother Divine Program for another year or so. Then she will attend the TM teacher training course so she can share the life-changing experience of transcending with others.
Your financial support can help make this experience possible for Zulaa and countless other women.
Our ongoing academic scholarship campaign supports the Bachelor of Arts program at Rajapark Institute in Thailand. The four-year BA program commences every four years and enrollment is open to twenty ladies. There are young women in the current program who still need financial assistance to complete their degree.
$69,000 US provides a full 4-year scholarship for one student (including the costs of tuition, room and board, travel expenses for home visits, health insurance and pocket money) ensuring she can complete the program without interruption.
